The "97% of scientists" lie has been endlessly repeated, exerting mind control on hundreds of millions in the Cult.

The 97% figure derives from a survey sent to 10,257 people of which the 3,146 who replied was further whittled down to 77 self-selected climate “scientists” of which 75 were judged to agree that human induced climate change was taking place.

What was the criteria for rejecting 3,069 respondents? There was no mention that 75 out of 3,146 is 0.03%. We did not hear that 0.03% of climate scientists agreed that humans have played a significant role in changing climate despite the billions spent on climate research.

Just imagine a well-paid, easy job where, regardless of how many times you blunder, there will never be any adverse consequences.

Little wonder that those fortunate individuals form a closely knit, self-supporting group, hostile to anyone who dares to question them. - Max Chugg

What NASA and the European Space Agency are admitting but the media are failing to report about our current heat wave

August, 2023

Thomas Lifson, AmericanThinker.com

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2023/07/what_nasa_and_the_european_space_agency_are_admitting_but_the_media_are_failing_to_report_about_our_current_heat_wave.html

The current heat wave is being relentlessly blamed on increasing levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, but there is a much more plausible explanation, one that is virtually endorsed by two of the world’s leading scientific organizations.  It turns out that levels of water vapor in the atmosphere have dramatically increased over the last year and a half, and water vapor is well recognized as a greenhouse gas, whose heightened presence leads to higher temperatures, a mechanism that dwarfs any effect CO2 may have.

So why has atmospheric water vapor increased so dramatically?  Because of a historic, gigantic volcanic eruption last year that I — probably along with you — had never heard of.  The mass media ignored it because it took place 490 feet underwater in the South Pacific.  Don’t take it from me; take it from NASA (and please do follow the link to see time-lapse satellite imagery of the underwater eruption and subsequent plume of gases and water injected into the atmosphere):

When the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai volcano erupted on Jan. 15, 2022, it sent a tsunami racing around the world and set off a sonic boom that circled the globe twice. The underwater eruption in the South Pacific Ocean also blasted an enormous plume of water vapor into Earth’s stratosphere — enough to fill more than 58,000 Olympic-size swimming pools. The sheer amount of water vapor could be enough to temporarily affect Earth’s global average temperature.

“We’ve never seen anything like it,” said Luis Millán, an atmospheric scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California. He led a new study examining the amount of water vapor that the Tonga volcano injected into the stratosphere, the layer of the atmosphere between about 8 and 33 miles (12 and 53 kilometers) above Earth’s surface.

In the study, published in Geophysical Research Letters, Millán and his colleagues estimate that the Tonga eruption sent around 146 teragrams (1 teragram equals a trillion grams) of water vapor into Earth’s stratosphere — equal to 10% of the water already present in that atmospheric layer. That’s nearly four times the amount of water vapor that scientists estimate the 1991 Mount Pinatubo eruption in the Philippines lofted into the stratosphere. [emphases added]

NASA published the above in August 2022.  Half a year later, a newer study increased the estimate of the water vapor addition to the atmosphere by 30%.  From the European Space Agency:

In a recent paper published in Nature, a team of scientists showed the unprecedented increase in the global stratospheric water mass by 13% (relative to climatological levels) and a five-fold increase of stratospheric aerosol load — the highest in the last three decades.

Using a combination of satellite data, including data from ESA’s Aeolus satellite, and ground-based observations, the team found that due to the extreme altitude, the volcanic plume circumnavigated the Earth in just one week and dispersed nearly pole-to-pole in three months. [emphasis added]

Another scientific paper explains the “net warming of the climate system” on a delayed basis.  NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory further explains:

Volcanic eruptions rarely inject much water into the stratosphere. In the 18 years that NASA has been taking measurements, only two other eruptions — the 2008 Kasatochi event in Alaska and the 2015 Calbuco eruption in Chile — sent appreciable amounts of water vapor to such high altitudes. But those were mere blips compared to the Tonga event, and the water vapor from both previous eruptions dissipated quickly. The excess water vapor injected by the Tonga volcano, on the other hand, could remain in the stratosphere for several years.

This extra water vapor could influence atmospheric chemistry, boosting certain chemical reactions that could temporarily worsen depletion of the ozone layer. It could also influence surface temperatures. Massive volcanic eruptions like Krakatoa and Mount Pinatubo typically cool Earth’s surface by ejecting gases, dust, and ash that reflect sunlight back into space. In contrast, the Tonga volcano didn’t inject large amounts of aerosols into the stratosphere, and the huge amounts of water vapor from the eruption may have a small, temporary warming effect, since water vapor traps heat. The effect would dissipate when the extra water vapor cycles out of the stratosphere [Emphases added]

So there you have it: we are in for extra atmospheric heat “for several years” until the extra water vapor injected by this largest-ever-recorded underwater volcano eruption dissipates.

Jeff Childers, who brought these scientific data to my notice, writes:

Here’s why corporate media is ignoring the most dramatic climate event in modern history: because you can’t legislate underwater volcanoes. You can try, but they won’t listen. So what’s the fun in that? Corporate media only exists to further political ends. Since volcanoes aren’t subject to politics, why bother?

He brings up the work of Ethical Skeptic:

Ethical is suggesting that the water is heating the air — instead of the other way around. And the Earth’s core is heating the water.  It’s a theory that explains everything.

These 14 American cities plan to ban meat, dairy and private vehicles by 2030 – is yours on the list?
08/22/2023 // Ethan Huff // Views
By the year 2030, the following 14 cities in the United States are planning to completely outlaw all meat and dairy consumption, as well as all private vehicle ownership and use, in order to conform to the "green" climate standards of the so-called C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group:

• Austin, Texas

• Boston, Massachusetts

• Chicago, Illinois

• Houston, Texas

• Los Angeles, California

• Miami, Florida

• New Orleans, Louisiana

• New York City, New York

• Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

• Phoenix, Arizona

• Portland, Oregon

• San Francisco, California

• Washington, D.C.

• Seattle, Washington

All 14 of these cities are part of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, which has an "ambitious target" of achieving "0 kg [of] meat consumption," "0 kg [of] dairy consumption," only "3 new clothing items per person per year," "0 private vehicles" owned, and only "1 short-haul return flight (less than 1500 km) every 3 years per person."

This is all outlined in "The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5°C World" report, which was originally published in 2019 and "reemphasized" in 2023, the year of what appears to be a major financial collapse and possible transition into a new world order.

(Related: A lot of meat is becoming unsafe to consume anyway due to cattle being injected with mRNA "vaccines.")

While you starve to death in poverty, billionaires like Michael Bloomberg will be living high on the hog as usual

Democrat billionaire Michael Bloomberg, who ran for president with almost zero support, is the primary funder of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group. In addition to the aforementioned 14 U.S. cities that are involved, at least 86 other cities around the world are also on the list for no more meat and dairy, very few clothing purchases allowed, no more private vehicle ownership, and almost no more flying on airplanes come 2030.

Bloomberg, of course, will continue to gorge on expensive meals filled with fancy meat, as well as unlimited private plane ownership and use. The peons underneath him, though, will be reduced to mere cattle in his envisioned new world order.

If the C40 Cities goals are new to you, it is probably because very few media outlets are reporting on it. In fact, there is an aggressive "fact checking" war being waged on all news about C40 Cities and what the plan entails that aims to "debunk" it is a "conspiracy theory."

The AFP Fact Check service went after conservative commentator Glenn Beck for this very thing recently, claiming that his mention of the C40 Cities plan to ban meat, dairy, cars, and clothing consumption are "not policy recommendations."

"This report does not advocate for the wholesale adoption of these more ambitious targets in C40 cities; rather, they are included to provide a set of reference points that cities, and other actors, can reflect on when considering different emission-reduction alternatives and long-term urban visions," the AFP Fact Check claims.

The C40 Cities report's use of the term "target," though, implies that this is a "desired goal" of the initiative, which means that eventually it will be codified into policy and law and forced on the masses as the final solution to climate change.

"IF these were not their goals, they would not have labeled them 'ambitious targets,'" writes Evita Duffy-Alfonso for The Federalist.

"Right now, hedge funds and private billionaires are buying up residential homes and farmland all over the world. At the same time, unrealistic zero-emissions policies are impoverishing Westerners and annihilating the middle class, which is fueling reliance on centralized government."

If you live in one of the above cities and plan to be around in 2030, then perhaps you may wish to consider moving somewhere freer?

NASA Vegetation Index:
Globe Continues Rapid Greening Trend, Sahara Alone Shrinks 700,000 Sq Km!

NASA Vegetation Index: Globe Continues Rapid Greening Trend, Sahara Alone Shrinks 700,000 Sq Km! – Watts Up With That?
25 Feb 2021 ~~ By P. Gosselin

Looking at NASA’s Vegetation Index data, the news is good: the globe has greened 10% so far this century.
That’s good news because we know this ultimately means greater crop production area and forest expansion. Ironically, what many “experts claim to be a huge problem (CO2) is in fact one of the major reasons behind the greening.
Zoe Phin has a post on this topic at her site which really warrants attention.
Global Vegetation Index surges 10% in 20 years
Zoe downloaded all of NASA’s available 16-day-increment vegetation data from 2000 to 2021. Here’s her result:
NASA’s Vegetation Index has risen from 0.0936 to 0.1029, which is a 9.94% increase. Chart by
Zoe Phin
“10% global greening in 20 years! We are incredibly fortunate!” Zoe comments on the results. “I just wish everyone felt that way. But you know not everyone does. To the extent that humans enhance global greening is precisely what social parasites want to tax and regulate. No good deed goes unpunished.”
Been greening 30 years!
This is not unexpected news to cool-headed climate realists. In August, 2019,
we reported on a German study showing how the globe had been greening for 3 decades. Based on satellite imagery, German Wissenschaft reported, “Vegetation on earth has been expanding for decades, satellite data show.”
Sahara shrinking, becoming greener
Also not long ago a
study by Venter et al (2018) found the Sahara desert had shrunk by 8% over the previous three decades. This is profound because the Sahara covers a vast area of some 9.2 million square kilometers. Eight percent means more than 700,000 square kilometers more area that’s become green – an area almost as big as Germany and France combined.
So in terms of vegetation, the planet probably hasn’t had it this nice in about 1000 years.
~Snip~
70% driven by CO2
And there’s more good news if you think CO2 is a problem as a greenhouse gas (it isn’t).
Last August, NTZ weekly contributor
Kenneth Richard cited a study by Haverd et al, 2020), and wrote that “about 70% of the Earth’s post-1980s vegetative greening trend has been driven by CO2 fertilization” and that this greening will offset 17 years (equivalent) of the Earth’s anthropogenic CO2 emissions by 2100.

Consensus is not Science;   Science is Not Consensus

The Semmelweis reflex or “Semmelweis effect” is a metaphor for the reflex-like tendency to reject new evidence or new knowledge because it contradicts established norms, beliefs, or paradigms.[1]

The term derives from the name of Ignaz Semmelweis, a Hungarian physician who discovered in 1847 that childbed fever mortality rates fell ten-fold when doctors disinfected their hands with a chlorine solution before moving from one patient to another, or, most particularly, after an autopsy. (At one of the two maternity wards at the university hospital where Semmelweis worked, physicians performed autopsies on every deceased patient.) Semmelweis’s procedure saved many lives by stopping the ongoing contamination of patients (mostly pregnant women) with what he termed “cadaverous particles”, twenty years before germ theory was discovered.[2] Despite the overwhelming empirical evidence, his fellow doctors rejected his hand-washing suggestions, often for non-medical reasons. For instance, some doctors refused to believe that a gentleman’s hands could transmit disease.[3]

In the preface to the fiftieth anniversary edition of his book The Myth of Mental IllnessThomas Szasz says that Semmelweis’s biography impressed upon him at a young age, a “deep sense of the invincible social power of false truths.”[5]

In 1983, Barry Marshall and John Warren presented a paper to the Australian Gastroenterological Society claiming that stomach ulcers are caused by infection of Helicobacter pylori. They never finished their presentation because they were laughed off the stage.  Twenty-two years later, they were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2005 for their discovery.

Here is a thought experiment with an obvious conclusion.  In 1895, Lord Kelvin, the President of the Royal Society, the oldest science organization in the world, declared:  “Heavier-than- air human flight is impossible.”

Imagine that two years later, a distinguished member of the Royal Society introduced Lloyd and Wilbur Wright to a meeting of The Society, and they announced, “We have been experimenting with our heavier-than-air invention and we believe we can fly it.”

What would the Royal Society members have said?  The same thing that doubters have always said because the Wright Brothers did not have the necessary pedigrees as did Lord Kelvin.  “Throw them out! Out of here!”
